About the Artist

Caroline is a transplant to Southern California. She grew up in Seattle but lived mostly in New York. After careers in foundation administration, agency management, social work and art therapy, she came to San Diego in 2000 where she was able to resume her artist pursuits.

Artist Statement

My paintings are interpretive realism with an emphasis on color, space and light. I seek to capture energy and emotion, combining substance and meaning with aesthetics.
