Need art supplies for the Kid's Art Program for 5-18 year olds
LJAA is planning to give art classes and Kid's Art events at the gallery and elsewhere. All members can help in making this program successful. You can help by donating the art supplies. Please contact Catherine MacDonald, the Art Classes Coordinator, at classes@lajollaart.org.
Please help us! We need fresh blood and will train you as a Gallery Director, Constant Contact Assistant, or Webmaster. Earn 1 VH for each hour spent on the job.
Preferably resides close enough to the gallery and be flexible for checking up the gallery as needed. Provides a gallery orientation especially an alarm system and key-box hands on training to the new members and other members who have not yet gallery sat at the new gallery*. Works with an Exhibition Director to maintaining the Gallery Staffing schedule.

We need a few more volunteer members who assist Constant Contact e-mail announcement operation. The Committee needs volunteers to keep the email addresses current and help with proof reading and create press releases. Please contact: Sharon Ford at email address if you are interested.
Maintain and update the LJAA website and database. Certain basic knowledge of HTML, PhP and SQL desirable. The current webmaster Mike Morse (webmaster@lajollaarat.org) will train and help you get started.

There are some third party websites who list the LJAA old address. A volunteer will locate and contact a webmaster of each sites requesting the info updates. For example http://www.lajollacove.com/LocalInterests/GalleriesIndex.html shows "La Jolla Art Association 7917 Girard Avenue, (858) 459-3001". It needs to be "La Jolla Art Association 8100 Paseo del Ocaso, Suite B, in La Jolla Shores, (858) 459-1196". Currently there are about 10 known third party websites which need to be updated. (Earn 1 hour = 1 VH).
